Marilyn vos Savant (born August 11, 1946 in St. Louis ) is an American magazine columnist, playwright and author. She became very famous in the Guinness Book of World Records category for having the most highest IQ of 228. ^[1] Since 1986, she has hosted Parade magazine's "Ask Marilyn" column. In the column she answers the questions from readers on a variety of subjects.

Guinness retired the "Highest IQ" category in 1990 after concluding IQ tests were too unreliable to designate a single record holder. ^[2]
