Marcia Louise Fudge
(born October 29, 1952) is an American politician. Fudge was the 18th
United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development
from 2021 to 2024. She was the
U.S. Representative
from
Ohio's 11th congressional district
from 2008 until 2021. She is a member of the
Democratic Party
.

In December 2020, Fudge was nominated by President-elect
Joe Biden
to serve as the
United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development

On March 11, 2024, Fudge announced her

to take effect on March 22, stepping down from public life.
