Ernesto Laclau ( Spanish:  [la?klau] ; 6 October 1935 ? 13 April 2014) was an Argentine political theorist . He was a post-Marxist . His career began in 1986 as a professor at the University of Essex . He was born in Buenos Aires .

Laclau died of a heart attack in Seville , Spain , aged 78. ^[1]
