. It was founded as
Classic Media
in 2000 by
Eric Ellenbogen
and John Engelman.

library is made up of
intellectual property
catalogs and
character brands
it hs gotten from other companies. It also includes the
licensing rights
for some third-party properties. In 2012, DreamWorks Animation acquired Classic Media from its then-owner, Boomerang Media.
