He became famous in the 1970s for playing Jodie Dallas on the ABC Comedy-drama , Soap . Crystal was a castmember of Saturday Night Live . He became a Hollywood movie star during the late 1980s and the 1990s, appearing in the box office successes When Harry Met Sally... and City Slickers .
