Bartholomew Patrick "Bertie" Ahern ( Irish : Padraig Parthalan O hEachthairn ; born 12 September 1951, Dublin [1] ) is a former Taoiseach of Ireland leader of Fianna Fail , the Irish Republic's largest political party . He oversaw the largest economic expansion in Irish history and was important in making the Good Friday Agreement .
