Overland Park is in northeastern Kansas. It is at the
junction
of
Interstate 435
and
U.S. Route 69
east of
Olathe
. The city center is about 13 miles (21 km) south-southwest of downtown
Kansas City, Missouri

Osage Plains
. Overland Park is a few miles south of the
Kansas River
