Cristalografia de raze X este o tehnic? cristalografic? utilizat? pentru determinarea structurii atomice ?i moleculare a unui cristal . La baza tehnicii se afl? ideea c? structura cristalin? cauzeaz? fascicolul incident de raze X s? se difracte in mai multe direc?ii specifice. Prin m?surarea unghiurilor ?i a intensit??ilor acestor raze difractate, se poate ob?ine o imagine tridimensional? a densit??ii electronice din cristalul respectiv. Se pot determina astfel pozi?iile atomilor in cristal, tipurile de leg?turi chimice ?i se pot deduce alte informa?ii variate.
