[5] Literal vorbind, to?i actorii pot fi considera?i actori de personaj, deoarece to?i interpreteaz?

Actri?a Margaret Hamilton (stanga) era o ?femeie dulce ?i bland?” in via?a real?, fiind complet diferit? de personajul interpretat in filmul Vr?jitorul din Oz (1939). [19]

[20] Unii actori de personaj au ajuns s? interpreteze personaje datorit? unor talente c?utate in industria filmului (i.e. dans , c?l?rie , acroba?ie , inot , box etc.). [21] Mul?i actori in devenire sunt asocia?i ?( d ) cu anumite roluri de personaj dup? interpretarea cu succes a unui astfel de personaj, motiv pentru care directorii de casting ?i agen?ii ii ofer? roluri similare. Unii actori de personaj - precum Gary Oldman - sunt cunoscu?i ca fiind ?cameleoni”, i.e. capabili s? joace roluri foarte diferite. [22]

Mul?i actori de personaj tind s? joace roluri asem?n?toare de-a lungul carierei lor: [23] Harvey Keitel interpreteaz? personaje dure ?i hot?rate; Christopher Lloyd interpreteaz? personaje excentrice; Claude Rains - personaje sofisticate cu o moralitate ambigu?; Abe Vigoda - criminali varstnici; [24] Fairuza Balk - personaje goth indispuse; Doug Jones - creaturi inumane, iar Forest Whitaker - personaje calme, dar impredictibile. [23] Ed Lauter ?( d ) interpreta de obicei personaje amenin??toare datorit? ?chipului s?u lung ?i proeminent”, fiind u?or de recunoscut in public. [25] Actorii de personaj interpreteaz? roluri precum femeia fatal? , pistolarul ?( d ) , tovar??ul ?( d ) , be?ivul ora?ului ?( d ) , r?uf?c?torul ?( d ) , prostituata cu inim? de aur ?( d ) ?i multe altele. [26] Sunt foarte aprecia?i de ceilal?i actori. [27]
