The FCC on June 5 adopted a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking proposing LPTV stations maintain an online public file in order to inform the public of a station’s operations and facilitate community engagement. The NPRM also suggests updates and amendments to address advances in the LPTV service.

Late Monday, the NPRM was released, with a comment date set for 30 days after publication in the? Federal Register? and a reply comment date some 60 days after such publication.
