Public Delivery is a not-for-profit arts organization established in 2011 in Seoul, South Korea. Our mission is to push the boundaries of artistic expression and its potential to effect positive change in the world. We actively collaborate with renowned
artists
,
art spaces
, and
organizations
, cultivating an ever-growing archive of ideas and offering valuable tools for artistic research.
We focus specifically on overlooked and underrepresented communities, particularly those in remote places, far from the usual spheres of the art world.
Through our collaborations, we have undertaken various groundbreaking projects. Noteworthy examples include the creation of
Asia’s tallest mural
and the simultaneous opening of a pop-up exhibition across six continents on a single weekend. Recently we have focused our efforts on the global performance project
Silence Was Golden
.
So far, we have produced over 400 performances and 40 exhibitions in over 100 countries. As a testament to our reach and impact, we were the most visited online not-for-profit arts organization in 2018 and have maintained that status since.

Our focus
Our focus is to investigate different viewpoints, to address pressing issues and questions and broaden fundamental conversations on art. We explore the art environment in unpredictable and innovative ways while remaining fully independent in our operation.
One pillar of our work is education. Our
blog
features hundreds of articles. Free access to our information ideally fosters discussions on art and aids researchers in finding trustworthy content. In 2013, we set up a
photography class
at
DEAR Burma
, a free school for refugees in Bangkok, Thailand.
We focus on creating meaningful content. One hundred percent of our editorial content is specifically commissioned and curated. In 2024, we launched our
interactive art map
that lets travelers, art enthusiasts, and locals explore the world from an artistic perspective.
Our second pillar is our
projects

Art unfiltered
In today’s art landscape, numerous esteemed publications have become part of large media conglomerates or are under the direct control of billionaire collectors. While these publications have their own merits, our platform takes pride in its independent stance. Our content, distinct in its voice and perspective, offers a refreshing departure from some mainstream narratives.
Every article we produce is crafted with a dedication to the true essence of art, free from the commercial pressures or vested interests that come with conglomerate ownership. We represent a commitment to ethical journalism and transparency, while challenging the monopoly of the privileged few. Our readers can trust in our content, knowing it’s both authentic and rooted in integrity.
Our contribution to environmental protection
100% of the power in our data center comes from hydropower plants that meet the strict criteria of TUV SUD. We use only green electricity without climate-damaging CO2 emissions or radioactive waste.
In all of our projects, we try to recycle or donate any excess material, which we have done countless times, including the donation of an entire wooden house to a homeless family.
