Richard Harding Davis ( Filadelfia , 18 de abril de 1864 ? Nova Iorque , 11 de abril de 1916 ) foi um popular e famoso escritor e jornalista estadunidense . Cobriu a Guerra Hispano-Americana , a Segunda Guerra dos Boeres e a Primeira Guerra Mundial . ^{[ 1 ]} Trabalhou, entre outras midias, para o The Times . Seus escritos ajudaram muito a carreira politica de Theodore Roosevelt . Ele tambem desempenhou um papel importante na evolucao da revista americana. Sua influencia se estendeu ao mundo da moda, e ele e creditado por tornar o visual barbeado popular entre os homens na virada do seculo XX. ^{[ 2 ]}
