The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office told us the 20-year-old rapper, whose real name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, is still in custody as of Tuesday morning. A court date or bond has not been set yet.

According to local news outlets , NBA YoungBoy was allegedly among a group of 16 people who were arrested for firearm possession and faces a number of drug, felony possession, and stolen firearms charges.

A fan-recorded video circulating online claims the rapper was in the middle of shooting his new music video for “Choppa City.” However, we were unable to confirm that information.

NBA YoungBoy has deleted all of his social media, including his Instagram and Twitter, as reports of the arrest surfaced.
