The death last week of that outstanding woman Miss Vida Goldstein has passed apparently almost unnoticed by the majority of women of this State, who owe her a great debt. Miss Goldstein was a pioneer in the fight for the women's suffrage. A gifted speaker and a woman of balanced judgment, she was an able and compelling advocate of the cause she championed. We have a memorial garden to the pioneer women of this country in the Botanic Gardens. Could not some plaque be placed there, or at least a tree planted, in memory of this brave, brilliant, and capable leader of women?
