The documentary, written and directed by Silenn Thomas and released by Picturehouse, features interviews with Miller shot over several years. It documents his nearly five-decade career, from his early days in Vermont to his formative years at Marvel Comics, all the way through his incredible success in the 1980s and 1990s at DC Comics and with his creator-owned projects. In this exclusive clip provided to IGN, Miller recalls his decision to leave Marvel for DC in the 1980s, and how it influenced his epic limited series, Ronin.

Miller will be on hand at the premiere for American Genius in Los Angeles at the Cinemark Playa Vista location to introduce the documentary, which will be live-streamed nationwide. Joining him will be actress Rosario Dawson, who before joining the MCU and the Star Wars universes, co-starred in the film adaptations of Miller’s Sin City graphic novels.??

All ticket holders will get a custom collectible gift.

Before then, Miller will be joined by fellow comics icon Neil Gaiman for a pre-screening introduction and discussion June 6 at the Angelika Film Center in New York City.?
