アラビア語チャド方言 は、アラビア語の口語（ア?ンミ?ヤ）のひとつでチャド周?で話されている。 シュワ 、 シュア 、スワ、 ショア 、 ショワ 、 バッガラ?アラビア語 、 バッカラ?アラビア語 、 バッガ?ラ?アラビア語 、 バッカ?ラ?アラビア語 、 西ス?ダン方言 ともよばれる。ただし、シュワはナイジェリアの特定の言語をさしている?語であり、西洋人がこの?語をこの方言の言語?の?術用語として採用してしまったものであり、現地の話者がこれをもちいることはない。100万人を超える人?が第一言語として用いており ^[2]、このなかに都市住民や遊牧民を含む。この方言の話者の多くはチャド南部に分布していて、方言の話者分布域の大半がチャドやス?ダンにある。また、チャド湖周?でも用いられるためカメル?ン、ナイジェリア、ニジェ?ルにも話者が存在している。さらに、南ス?ダン、中央アフリカにも少し存在している。また、周?諸?の非母語話者は、リングワ?フランカ（共通語）として用いられることもあるが、その場合においてはいくつかの地方言語のひとつとして用いられるにすぎない。
