Karl Anton Nowotny (21 Juni 1904 – 31 Desember 1978) [1] adalah seorang etnografer , sejarawan seni dan akademisi asal Austria, yang mengkhususkan diri dalam kajian budaya Mesoamerika . Ia dikenal karena membuat analisis dan reproduksi kodeks-kodeks Mesoamerika , dan komentarnya tentang ikonografi dan simbolisme mereka.
