Schussler (2007) relates it to ( OC *k??aŋ ), ( OC *qoːns ), ? ( OC *qon ), & ( OC *q?aŋ? ). Allofams are possibly ( OC *??laː ), ( OC *qrol, *qrol? ), and ( OC *qoːw?, *qrow, *qrow? ), which Coblin (1986) (apud Schuessler, 2007) considers as cognate to Tibetan ???? ( yo ba , oblique, aslant ) , ????? ( g.yo ba , tilt ) , ???? ( g.yos ) ; however, see ( y?o ). Ratliff (2010) links it with Proto-Hmong-Mien *q?uw ( far ) .
