, buses depart for Fujisan, Fuji Q Highland and Fuji-Yoshida Stations. There are also buses from

Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine
(
新倉富士?間神社
).
Has a platform from which you can see the Chureito Pagoda with Mount Fuji, one of the most iconic views of the mountain, especially during the cherry blossom season. Not just a photo op, the shrine also has history. During the last eruption of Mount Fuji, an imperial envoy came here to pray for it to stop. The shrine is said to house a sword from the samurai warlord Takeda Shingen's father as an offering when he won a battle after praying here for victory.
