Vele?
is a municipality and village in
Prague-East District
in the
Central Bohemian Region
of the
Czech Republic
. It has about 2,000 inhabitants.

The village of Mirovice is an administrative part of Vele?.
Geography

Vele? is located about 7 kilometres (4 mi) north of
Prague
. It lies in a flat agricultural landscape in the
Central Elbe Table
.
History

The first written mention of Vele? is from 1318. Until 1678, it was owned by various lower noblemen. In 1678, the
Nostitz family
bought Vele? and annexed it to the
Pakom??ice
estate.
