Wikimedia Foundation
is very careful about the images included in
Wikipedia
because of
copyright law
(see Wikipedia's
Copyright policy
).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are
open content
,
public domain
, and
fair use
. Find the appropriate template in
Wikipedia:Image copyright tags
and place it on the image page like this:
{{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from

I had to remove the sentence you added about how his love for animals was cited as evidence of his sanctity. I've seen the photos, but
who
cited it as evidence of his sanctity. The proceedings of his canonization process are not yet fully disclosed.Such a sentence would only be notable if it was cited by JPII as one of the main reasons for elevating him to venerable status. In any case, it would need to be
cited

Erotic film (Monty Python skit)
, an article you created, has been nominated for
deletion

Erotic film (Monty Python skit)
satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "
What Wikipedia is not

Wikipedia deletion policy
). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at
Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Erotic film (Monty Python skit)
and please be sure to

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited
Sheriff of Nottingham
, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page
Robert Shaw
. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles.

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Remember that when adding content about health, please only use
high-quality reliable sources

review articles

is how the community classifies them and uses them).
WP:MEDHOW
walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found

- DonIago
I understand well the Wikipedia policy on "no original research.' What I added on the
Symphony No. 9 (Beethoven)
was simply rephrasing what is already cited on the
Symphony No. 2 (Schumann)
page. I saw no citation on the latter and assume I needed no citation on the former. Please advise.

- Thanks for getting back to me on this. I've tagged the section of that article in which that statement appears for possible OR, as no citations are provided. If you want to add the statement from that article to the Beethoven article, it will need a citation in any case, per
WP:CIRCULAR
. Thanks again, and I hope this explanation makes sense!
