Hello! I saw you reformated this template. Is there a Wikipedia policy about using default colors? Because I use colors all the time ? I think it makes it look more interesting. You could always change it to a different color though. What do you think?

- No, I don't think so. It just that the dark blue caused the view/discuss/edit links hard to see. --

I have removed from this template the line for
"Former"
federal holidays because it was clearly incorrect as to both cited holidays, neither of which was an actual federal holiday. I explain this further at
Talk:Federal holidays in the United States#Removal_of_"Former_federal_holidays"
, and any discussion should probably be consolidated over there, as this template should presumably reflect that article's content. --
