720 & C-135 & C-137 [ edit ]

Should't the 720 and C-135 be on this template? Both have been referred to as a 717 in the past. 76.66.193.90 ( talk ) 11:30, 25 February 2009 (UTC) [ reply ]

The 720 was a variant of the 707, and the C-135 Stratolifter is a derivative of the 707 prototype, but is a military aircraft. Variants are not listed, but fall under the main aircraft (eg. 737-100,200,300,400, etc). This template is for the Boeing 7x7 series, which the C-135 is not a part of. - Trevor MacInnis contribs 14:49, 11 December 2009 (UTC) [ reply ]

Updating needed [ edit ]

A 2010s column needs adding, and the colours up to 2009 need bringing up to date. Far too complicated for my editing skills I'm afraid. Mjroots ( talk ) 10:47, 11 December 2009 (UTC) [ reply ]

747 - gap in production [ edit ]

Hi,

There was about a year or so where the 747 was out of production. This was between the 747-400 and 747-8. Is it worth showing this on here.

I have also made some tweaks to reflect 2011, doesnt seem it was updated at the time.

Thanks

grey for narrow-body is irritating [ edit ]

why not take a more neutral color? Grey makes it seem dead or implies that it's worse, which is not true. #B0D0D0 for example seams like a better choice than #C0C0C0 -- Wolfguardian64 ( talk ) 08:00, 31 March 2017 (UTC) [ reply ]

I'm just gonna go ahead and change it to #B0D0D0 for all producers (Airbus, MD, Boeing...). Feel free to revert it if you don't think it's appropriate. -- Wolfguardian64 ( talk ) 08:09, 31 March 2017 (UTC) [ reply ]
