{{
Hidden translation
}}
will categorise tagged articles into
Category:Wikipedia articles needing cleanup after translation
.
Purpose
[
edit
]
When to use:
This template is used to identify articles which may contain translations with errors of fact. Articles which are the result of a rough or a machine translation, and which subsequently underwent significant cleanup so that the level of English is now similar to other, never-translated articles, may obscure the fact that factual errors introduced by the translation are still there. You may tag these articles with
{{
Hidden translation
}}
.
When not to use:
If the current version of the article is clearly a poor translation, consider using
{{
Rough translation
}}
or
{{
Cleanup translation
}}
instead.

If the second parameter is filled in as in the example above, the template will provide a hyperlink to the given version.
