I think snowskating involves a skate deck and instead of wheels on the trucks, there are skis. They sell them on

- Actually, the vast majority of non-CCS snowskates consist of either a deck with one wide ski on the bottom, or no ski at all.

They seem like they're basically the same thing, just a brand name difference? I don't know a lot about winter sports personally.

I say go for it. It will be a longer task then normal but, it is feasible.
