Rudno [?rudn?] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Krzeszowice , within Krakow County , Lesser Poland Voivodeship , in southern Poland. It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Krzeszowice and 26 km (16 mi) west of the regional capital Krakow .

The village developed beneath the 14th century Tenczyn Castle , the seat of the T?czy?ski family , turning increasingly into a ruin after a fire in the mid-18th century.
