Riz ( Persian : ??? ) [a] is a city in, and the capital of, Riz District of Jam County , Bushehr province, Iran . [4] It also serves as the administrative center for Riz Rural District . [5]

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,802 in 415 households. [6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,405 people in 641 households. [7] The census in 2016 recorded the population at 3,282 people in 944 households. [2]
