before becoming a Pope.

he transferred the
Seat of the Coptic Orthodox Pope of Alexandria
from
Church of the Virgin Mary (Haret Zuweila)
to
Saint Mary Church (Haret Elroum)

) when
Pope Mark VIII
transferred it to
Saint Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral (Azbakeya)
