Somalia
. It includes a part of central
Mogadishu
. Hamar Weyne is the oldest district with in
Mogadishu
and up until 1938 the city of Mogadishu was made up of
Shingani
and Hamar Weyne

.Somali word "xamar" means tamarind tree.
