", is a former Czechoslovak footballer, gold medalist with the Czechoslovak Olympic Football Team at the
1980 Summer Olympics
in Moscow. He was considered as an allrounder who could play in almost every position of the midfield (especially left wing and defensive midfield).
Club career

During his youth ?tambachr played for
Sokol ?ebin
and
KPS Brno
. In 1972, he transferred to
Dukla Prague
(nowadays known as
Marila Pribram
). For Dukla he reached a total of 292 top league appearances and scored 31 goals. In 1977, 1979 and 1982 he became champion of
Czechoslovakia
, in 1981 and 1983
national cup
winner. He spent the late years of his career playing in Greece for
AEK Athens
(7/1984-12/1984) and
Apollon Athens
(12/1984-6/1985).

, where he did not compete. He also participated at the
