Detta monument ar tillagnat den eviga vanskapen mellan Konungarikets Sverige och Republiken Korea till aminnelse av Sveriges deltagnade i Korea kriget, 1950-1953, till forsvar for Republiken Koreas frihet genom att, under Forenta nationernas befal, svara for the Swedish Field Hospital som upprattades, den 23 september 1950, har i Pusan.

1950年 9月 23日, 이곳 釜山에 設置 되었던 유엔軍 司令部 傘下의 스웨덴 野戰病院은 大韓民國의 自由 守護를 위해 1950 - 1953年間 韓國戰爭에 參加 했다. 이를 길이 記念하고, 스웨덴 王國과 大韓民國의 永遠한 親善을 위해서 이 記念碑를 바치노라.

This monument is dedicated to the permanent friendship between the people of the Kingdom of Sweden and the Republic of Korea in commemoration of Swedish participation in the Korean War, 1950-1953, in defense of the freedom of the Republic of Korea by operating,under the United Nations' command, the Swedish Field Hospital for Korea, established September 23, 1950, here in Pusan.
