devices. These devices typically run a version of
Android

Linux
and allow users to play
historical video games

The Anbernic trademark was registered in 2017 by the
Shenzhen
-based manufacturer Shenzhen YangLiMing Electronic Technology Co., Ltd

as the company released their first handheld, the Retro Game (RG).

The brand became prominent after releasing a string of popular retrocomputing devices including the RG351, RG353 and RG35XX.
