Should north, south, east, and west be capitalized? In addition, blue whales and
Tyrannosaurus rex
are big animals, and they don't have four legs.

Children living outside of the tropics would agree that there are four seasons. Children learning their numbers in the tropics (or in extreme latitudes) would be very confused by this, as they only have two. I suggest making this book more geographically neutral by addressing this.
Also, not all big animals have four legs. Even being as specific as mammals throws up exceptions kids would be aware of like the blue whale
