MBC's drama special "Prince of the Legend" comes in with a 20% viewer rating on its 3rd showing.

According to TNS Media Korea "Prince of the Legend" finished first in viewer ratings on the 22 of May. It received a 23.6% viewership rating in the metropolitan area and 21.8% country-wide. It received a rating of 24.5% in Seoul alone, following the two biggest Korean hit dramas in "Huh June" and "Jewel in the Palace." By this we can expect the birth of another hit drama in Korea.

"Prince of the Legend" brought up a stir even before its first showing because of its spectacular and verified filming cast. The glowing praise from the viewers about the drama's movie-like pictures, fast storyline and strong characters within the storyline hasn't stopped since its airing.

The drama's 1st and 2nd episodes, showed on the 15th and 16th of May, proves this fact. Each episode rated 17.5% and 19.2% in the metropolitan area, bringing the drama up to 1st place overall among the dramas which aired at the same time.

In episode 3 the great fighting scenes between King Geum-wa, Jumong, and Dae-so was greatly loved by the viewers. Another breathtaking scene was the one where Geum-wa goes to save Hae Mo-soo, who's in custody of the Han nation. The scene when Old Joseon's hero Hae Mo-soo gets hit by an arrow and falls off a cliff kept the viewers in suspense over whether he was still alive or not.

The viewers found it interesting that the drama draws the great hero, who was called a prodigy child ever since he was 7, as a humble boy who trembles in fear before going out to war.

In episode 4, which is going to be broadcasted on the 23rd of May, the drama has jumped to the characters' adult years. Jumong and So Seo-no meet for the first time, and because of Dae Soh and Young-poe's trap Jumong falls into danger. This episode is also supposed to have a lot of great scenes that will amaze the viewers.

This drama, which tells the story of a somewhat weak hero who leads the Goguryeo Kingdom through all his continuous ups and downs, "Prince of the Legend" will be aired every Monday and Tuesday at 9:55 pm.
