Please replace the above with the link below. -- User: Docu at 20:25, 23 April 2010 (UTC) [ reply ]

String to add
<span style="white-space: nowrap;">[{{fullurl:Special:ActiveUsers|limit=1&username={{urlencode:{{{1|$1}}}}}}} User rights and activity] '''·'''</span>
Doesn't seem like a good idea to me, as that special page only lists users with contributions in the last 30 days. Regards, -- ChrisiPK ( Talk | Contribs ) 20:40, 23 April 2010 (UTC) [ reply ]
Good point, let's add an additional link instead: -- User: Docu at 03:45, 24 April 2010 (UTC) [ reply ]

Fixing the Template

[ edit ]

{{editprotected}}

This is a good template, redone from the one on mediawiki, a realgood one for commons, but it seems that the concept that when you include it in your user page with {{ MediaWiki:Sp-contributions-footer |Wolfnix}} (well replace Wolfnix with your username) $1 is not always replaced with your user name, infact it only does for User rights and Recent Activity, unlike the template used on en-wiki were it does for all? Am I missing something? Any suggestions or ideas? -- Wolfnix ? Talk ? 20:49, 14 September 2010 (UTC) [ reply ]

Code Hack

[ edit ]

✓ Done It should work now. It wasn't designed to work as a template, but there's no reason it can't be. Rocket000 ( talk ) 21:23, 14 September 2010 (UTC) [ reply ]

What is it designed to work as here then? Just {{Subst}} it in and do it yourself?? -- Wolfnix ? Talk ? 21:30, 14 September 2010 (UTC) [ reply ]
Heh, no, it's in the MediaWiki namespace (not the template namespace) which is for the interface. This is what you see when you look up someone's contribs. For example, Special:Contributions/Wolfnix . Rocket000 ( talk ) 21:41, 14 September 2010 (UTC) [ reply ]
Nods I understand, oh well :P it works now, like on en-wiki :D -- Wolfnix ? Talk ? 21:53, 14 September 2010 (UTC) [ reply ]

Broken edit counter

[ edit ]

{{Editprotected}} The current edit counter seems to be broken, so I'd like to replace it here with Tparis' edit counter, which is currently used at en.wiki and at an active request for adminship. To do so, simply replace the current contents of MediaWiki:Sp-contributions-footer with the contents of User:Philosopher/Sandbox . -- Philosopher  Let us reason together. 22:46, 3 June 2012 (UTC) [ reply ]

Luxo's Global edit tool

[ edit ]

{{Edit protected}} Could the link to Luxo's Global edit tool please be temporarily removed (or replaced with the quentinv57-tools version linked to on en:MediaWiki:Sp-contributions-footer-anon ), at least until Luxo can perform the necessary eqiad migration steps and the link works again? Thanks, Storkk ( talk ) 18:17, 18 March 2014 (UTC) [ reply ]

Removing request - Luxo seems to have fixed the issues. Storkk ( talk ) 11:54, 19 March 2014 (UTC) [ reply ]

Edit counter has moved

[ edit ]

{{Editprotected}}

The official edit counter has moved from tools.wmflabs.org/xtools/pcount to tools.wmflabs.org/supercount . The link in the Contributions footer for a user at EN.WP and other sites has already been updated, but Commons has not. Please change...

[http://tools.wmflabs.org/xtools/pcount/index.php?name={{urlencode:{{{1|$1}}}}}&lang=commons&wiki=wikimedia Edit count]

... to ...

[//tools.wmflabs.org/supercount/index.php?user={{urlencode:{{{1|$1}}}}}&project=commons.wikimedia Edit count]

Note that I also removed the explicit "http:" in order to preserve user's preference for https (if enabled). ? RP88 00:27, 25 March 2014 (UTC) [ reply ]

✓ Done -- Steinsplitter ( talk ) 22:06, 26 March 2014 (UTC) [ reply ]
Thanks for applying the fix. ? RP88 22:15, 26 March 2014 (UTC) [ reply ]

Updated to supercount

[ edit ]

I have just updated all the urls from toolserver/tparis to toollabs/supercount. Not all the sublanguage pages had the links, and that is still the case.

To note that we still have some vvv/yaec links existing on soe of the pages that need to be updated to wherever. ?? billinghurst sDrewth 02:22, 11 May 2014 (UTC) [ reply ]

[ edit ]

{{Editprotected}} Assuming this is the talk about the footer on user contributions pages on Commons, I wish to report a bug. The "Edit count" link does not lead to the correct page for users with blanks in their user names, because blanks are translated to "+" in the link instead of "%20" or "_", both of which work great. So the "edit count" link at the bottom of Special:Contributions/Robert_Flogaus-Faust links to https://xtools.wmflabs.org/ec/commons.wikimedia/Robert+Flogaus-Faust . This redirects to https://xtools.wmflabs.org/ec . Both https://xtools.wmflabs.org/ec/commons.wikimedia/Robert%20Flogaus-Faust and https://xtools.wmflabs.org/ec/commons.wikimedia/Robert_Flogaus-Faust would work nicely. I already discussed this bug at Commons:Village_pump#Peculiar_bug_on_"User_contributions"_page . Can anyone fix this, please? Wrap a template

[ edit ]

{{Editprotected}} May MediaWiki:Sp-contributions-footer wrap a template like MediaWiki:Sp-contributions-footer-anon does so that Template Editors like me may edit the guts of it, please? ? ? Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 05:12, 21 December 2020 (UTC) [ reply ]
