English: The Chamizal is a Mexican and United States border area in El Paso, Texas and Ciudad Juarez , Chihuahua . It was the focus of the Chamizal dispute until 1964 due to changes in the Rio Grande since 1852. Part of the Mexican side is now the Parque Publico Federal "El Chamizal" and part the U.S. side is now the Chamizal National Memorial .
