English: Archaeological sites which are at sea. For instance: The North Sea was largely dry in the Ice Ages. That is why on the bottom of the sea, besides sunken ships from the historical periods, there are also flint sites from prehistoric times. So the bottom of the North Sea might contain maritime archaeological sites: prehistoric sites as well as ship wrecks.
