차지量은 個人과 시스템 사이의 미디어를 活用하여, 스스로 穩全한 個人으로 實存할 수 있는 以上 (꿈) 을 그린다. 첫 個人展인 《移動을 위한 會話》 (2008) 를 始作으로, 아르코美術館에서 〈Midnight Parade〉 (2010) 를 發表했고, SeMA 新進藝術人 支援으로 〈一時的 企業〉 (2011) 을 製作했으며, 다양한 藝術 現場에서 사람을 모으는 作業을 이어갔다. 사람들과 비어있는 住居 空間을 占有하여 〈New Home〉 (2012) 을 記錄했고, ‘K難民’ 시리즈 (2014~) 로 國民의 極端을 想像했으며, ‘BATS’ 프로젝트 (2016~) 로 移住民으로 자란 새로운 世代의 經驗을 풀어냈다. 國內外 다양한 環境에서 머무르며 時間을 보냈고, 個人이 經驗한 여러 時空間을 〈BGM〉 (2018) 과 〈떠나려는 사람만이 모든 것을 본다〉 (2019) 로 共有했다. 最近 ‘Dream Pop’ 프로젝트 (2022~) 와 ‘Living Room’ 모임 (2023~) 을 進行하며 超個人的인 꿈 (異常) 을 사람들과 함께 떠올리고 있다. 그것은 內面으로 沈潛해 건져 올린 微細하게 振動하고 있는 것들 사이에서 벌어지는 連續體의 風景이다.

Cha Ji Ryang has been working on ways to become a complete individual by utilizing media between individuals and systems.  His first solo exhibition was The expressions to move (2008) He was invited by Arko Art Center and presented Midnight Parade (2010) and Temporary Enterprise (2011) was created with the support of SeMA.  He showcased New Home (2012) at various film festivals, K-refugees series (2014~) at Festival Bo:m, and BATS project (2016~) as National Museum of Modern and Contemp orary Art and Arko international exchange programs. He introduced BGM (2018) and Only people who decided t o leave, can see everything (2019) and shared his memory of personal experiences of time and space by organizing them into sounds and light. This work was presented at the Song Eun Art Awards. He has spent time staying in various regions at home and abroad, and is living his life to realize the transpersonal dream (ideal) that he achieved thro ugh Inner Vision. He recently announced his solo exhibition Dream Pop (2022) at d/p, an d currently runs Living Room (2023~) in his personal space and spends time sharing about the conditions under which art occurs.
