Ass si in Wasser nid looslig si, chunnt vor allem vo de lange Choolewasserstoff -Rast, wo fast alli Lipid hai. Ma dailt sa grob in versaifbari und nit versaifbari Lipid ii. ^[1]

In laabige Organisme warde Lipid hauptsachlig as Strukturkomponante in Zallmembrane , as Energiispiicher oder als Signalmolekul brucht. Die maiste biologische Lipid si amfifil , d. h. si hai e lipofile Choolewasserstoff-Rast und e polari hudrofili Chopfgrubbe. Dorum bilde si in polare Loosigsmiddel wie Wasser Micelle oder Membran. Vilmol wird dr Begriff ?Fett“ as Sunonuum fur Lipid brucht, aber d Fett ( Triglyceride ) si nume en Undergrubbe von ene.
