Began his
youth career with Southampton FC academy, before being released and being
picked up by the Brighton & Hove Albion FC academy in 2014, and making his
way into the first team set-up in 2016-17. Joined Newport County FC on a
season-long loan deal on 1 August 2017. He returned to Albion with links
to a move to Tottenham Hotspur FC, but instead signed a contract
extension. And still to make his Albion league debut, he was sent out on
loan again, Peterborough United FC signing White on 3 January 2019 until
the end of the season. White again returned to then sign a season-long
loan deal with Leeds United AFC on 1 July 2019, and his performances again
saw him being linked with Premier League clubs, this time, Liverpool FC.
Leeds attempted to sign White on a permanent deal at the end of his loan
spell. White was then the subject of a £50 million transfer bid from Arsenal FC on
17 July 2021, and he signed on 30 July.
