Wolves wait on Kameni verdict
Carlos Kameni
Kameni is highly rated by Wolves
Wolves manager Dave Jones was attending a tribunal on Thursday in a bid to obtain a work permit for Cameroon goalkeeper Carlos Kameni.

The 19-year-old international's initial application was turned down but the Molineux boss and club secretary Richard Skirrow were at an appeal in Sheffield.

"The work permit was originally turned down because of Carlos' age and because he hasn't made enough international appearances as yet," Skirrow told the club's official website.

"We are appealing on the grounds that he is an exceptional young talent."

Jones said: "Carlos has been very impressive on the training ground - he's done very well which is why we are going to the appeal panel."

If the appeal is successful Kameni will join Wolves on loan from Le Havre.
