“Like a child who imitates an adult, a naive lady takes up the posture like a professional billiard player.

 Expecting to grow for professional player like them, 

I calm myself down with a passion, a will, an effort. Although I collapse by such a little thing as usual, I am walking step by step for my future. 

This artwork is the my self-portrait, also, it is the represent artwork of ‘Coy Olympic’ series.”

   오늘은    < 폼생폼사   :   純情女> 를 포스팅하고자 합니다. 

내숭올림픽을 紹介하기 앞서 올림픽에 對해 먼저 알아보겠습니다.

  올림픽은 BC 776年 古代 그리스에서 처음 始作되었고, 올림피아 地域에서 처음으로 大會가 열린 데에서 大會 名稱이 由來되었습니다.

當時도 現在처럼 4年마다 1番 올림픽이 開催되었다고 합니다.

올림픽은 冬季올림픽과 夏季올림픽으로 各 4年을 週期로 2年의 隔差를 두고 열립니다.

夏季올림픽은 가장 最近 런던에서 2012年을 基準으로 26個의 種目이 選定되었으며,

冬季올림픽은 2014年 現在 所致에서 15個의 種目이 選定되어 열리고 있습니다.

種目의 選定 方法

1. 該當 올림픽이 열리기 7年 前에 發表

2. 現在 26~28種目 사이에서 種目을 決定

3. 男子의 境遇 4大陸 75個國 以上에서 該當 種目이 實施되어야 함.

4. 女子의 境遇 3大陸 40個國 以上에서 該當 種目이 實施되어야 함.

5. IOC 委員들이 種目에 對해서 贊反 投票 (3分의 2以上이 贊成)

올림픽 種目의 選定基準은 世界的으로 알려진 種目 中에서도 人氣가 많은 것이 選定되고 있습니다.

저도 저만의 내숭 올림픽을 主催夏期에 앞서 基準과 種目을 選定해 보았는데요,

저의 選定基準은 '現代 生活 속에서의 日常的 親近함'입니다.

親舊와 스트레스를 풀기 위해 들르는 撞球場이나 볼링場,

散策을 하다 보면 지나치기 아쉬운 運動器具 等 

現代 日常에서 쉽게 만나 볼 수 있는 親近하고  게임같은 스포츠를 代表하는 것으로 소재를 삼았습니다.

< 폼생폼사 : 純情女 >는  現代人들이 즐기는 여러 스포츠 中 撞球를 選擇하였습니다.

한 껏 華麗하게 治粧하고 優雅한 포즈를 取하고 있는   純情女는 他人의 視線을 즐기는 듯 여유롭습니다.

能熟한 듯 큐대를 잡고 있지만 額子 속 프로 選手들과는 對照되어 어딘지 모르게 語塞해 보이는 純情女.

'純情女' 는 2014年 서울 인사동에서 열리는  '내숭올림픽'의 代表選手 입니다.

여러분도 오늘 여러 빛깔의 撞球공 中 나만의 色을 찾아보는 것은 어떨까요.

내숭이야기는 

韓服이 주는 高尙함과 祕密스러움에 着眼하여 韓服을 입고 格式을 차리지 않은 日常的인 모습들을 담고 있습니다 .

저는 人物을 누드로 表現한 後 韓服을 입히는 過程을 거치는 데요 , 

半透明한 韓服은  ' 그 속이 훤히 들여다 보인다 .' 는 메세지를 담고 있습니다 .

韓服을 半透明하게 表現하기 위해 直接 얇은 韓紙를 染色을 한 後 콜라쥬를 합니다 .

저는 思春期부터 特히 다른 사람의  ‘ 視線 ’ 에 銳敏했습니다 .   

? 제가 願하는 삶을 苦悶하기도 前에 사람들의  ‘ 視線 ’ 에 비춰지는 모습만을 좇아가는 사람이었습니다 .     

? ‘ 視線 ’ 은 저의 人生의 基準이었고 ,  그 무게는 저에게 버거웠습니다 .     

? ‘ 視線 ’ 灣을 좇다 보니 ,  稀微해진 저의 自我를 찾기 爲해 ,   

? 흔들리지 않고 무게 中心을 잡고 싶었습니다.

‘ 내가 어떤 사람인가 ’  或은  ‘ 어떤 사람이 되어야 하는가 ’  하는 諮問의 時間으로서    

< 내숭이야기 > 를 構想하였습니다.    

또한. 日常生活 속에서 率直한 저의 모습을 그림으로 表現하고자 하였습니다 .   

 Live due to Swag, Die due to Swag : Naive Lady

Bang! The white ball bounces and breaks the even order. Shock! When I bounce the ball, the existing order which is represented by conventional ideas breaks down, and a new game starts.

The order of world is so solid that it is not easy to break, but the naive lady in the painting breaks the conventional idea freely.

The expectation of world burdened upon me as if it were natural. Other people’s eyes which control my decision-making and thinking.

All those prejudice against other people assuming what kind of people they would be. I like my canvas where I can express my freedom as much as I want.

  Story of  Coy

Story of Coy  shows informal everyday life with figures wearing Hanbok, which is Korean traditional clothes, based on the elegant and secret characteristic of Hanbok.

 I draw the figure in the nude at first, and go through the step of dressing the figure in Hanbok. This Hanbok is translucent to deliver the message that ‘one can see what is underneath the dress’.

I dye thin Hanji, which is traditional Korean paper, in person to express Hanbok in a translucent way, and to make a collage.

 Arirang TV

This work was recreated into a unique CF image through the collaboration with Arirang TV (CEO Bang Suk Ho, www.arirang.co.kr ) which leads the business of international exchange cooperation in broadcast.

 My drawing was made into a vividly moving image in screen, and caught people’s eyes. This special image created through the collaboration with Arirang TV is broadcast on television around the world dozen times a day.

The image was disclosed to the public on April 6th, 2015. “Flutter” is a work based on my own experience in everyday life. I love to listen to music. I become stabilized emotionally, and can get intense energy when I listen to music.

As soon as I put on earphones while walking down the streets, I feel like I am in a different world, and I begin to take every step as if I were a main character in a movie.

Have you ever had this kind of profound feeling as if you were in a world of fantasy when you listen to music?
