We loved her when she supported her sister Shivanya (Mouni Roy) in avenging her parents' killings at every step and even saved her life on more than one occasion. We loved her even more when she risked her life to wipe off Shivanya's enemies including Mayuri or ichchadhaari morni. Naturally, we hated her when she fell in love with her sister's husband Ritik. We hated her even more when she tried to kill her sister to snatch away her husband and Naagmani.

We might not have understood Sesha completely, but we are in love with the character. Here's why:

  1. She's passionate: She loves and hates with similar intensity. She loved her sister Shivanya (Mouni Roy) and could anything for her until she realised that they both loved the same man. She would now go to any length to get her man and kill her sister.
  2. Her screen presence: You cannot take your eyes off Sesha when she's on screen. There is something about her intense eyes and facial expressions that demand you to keep looking at her. Remember the very first episode of Naagin where she tries to seduce Ritik (Arjun Bijlani) in his dream? Adaa has a personality that makes her apt for a supernatural drama. The actress in fact did a role with negative shades in another supernatural show called Amrit Manthan and her performance was equally good. In all, nobody can deny she has a powerful screen presence.
  3. Varied shades in her character: The character of Sesha had a mysterious tinge in the first few episodes of Naagin until Shivanya was introduced in the show. She then turned a loyal accomplice to Shivanya and helped her at each step. Soon she became a lovlorn woman who got into dilemma over a man. Her vicious side gets the better of her and she turns out-and-out evil. It's a well-written character and we love every hue of it.
  4. She's fearless: You will never see her cower down in face of danger. Even if she knows she might die the next moment, she doesn't look scared. The way she looks at her enemies and smile at them, sends a chill down your spine.
  5. Last but not the least, we love Sesha for her curls. The hair style is in sync with her character of Naagin. It gives her an edge and makes her look complete.

Here's wishing a very happy birthday to the Naagin star.
