What are public programs?
We’re expanding Google Maps Platform availability for Google public programs
that support nonprofit, startup, crisis response, news media, and educational organizations.
We’re committed to developers supporting these organizations and programs.
Existing Google for Nonprofit users who are receiving grants will transition to
Google Maps Platform credits. Eligible organizations may apply for Google Maps Platform
credits through the following programs:
All Google Maps Platform users receive $200 in
recurring monthly
credit
on accounts with billing enabled.
Nonprofits
Details
Verified
Google for Nonprofits
organizations can apply
to receive additional credits for use against Google Maps Platform usage,
starting at $250 per month. Applicants must have the authority to accept the
Google Maps Core Services License Agreement
and the
Google
Maps Platform credits policy
on behalf of your nonprofit
organization.
Eligibility
You must be signed up with Google for Nonprofits and signed in to your account
in order to apply for additional Google Maps Platform credits.

- Activate Google Maps Platform credits

- Complete the Google Maps Platform credits application for nonprofits. You
must have administrator access to your nonprofit organization’s billing account
to complete the application.
Crisis responders
Details
Developers and organizations responding to a crisis can apply to receive
Google Maps Platform credits for their project. Applicants must have the
authority to accept the
Google Maps Core Services License Agreement
and the
Google Maps Platform credits policy
on behalf of
your organization.

Google for Startups: Cloud Program
in order to apply for Google Maps Platform startup credits.
